Caffein8r is developed by Adam King. This privacy policy describes how the app handles your data.

Data Collected

Caffein8r logs your caffeine intake, including beverage type, amount, and timestamp. This data is used solely to provide you with caffeine tracking features within the app.

On-Device Storage

All data is stored locally on your device using Apple’s built-in frameworks. Your data never leaves your device unless you explicitly enable optional features described below.

HealthKit

Caffein8r can optionally read and write caffeine data to Apple Health. This integration requires your explicit permission and can be revoked at any time in your device settings. HealthKit data is never sent to any external server.

iCloud Sync (Future)

A future update may add iCloud sync via Apple’s CloudKit to enable cross-device access to your data. This sync is managed entirely by Apple’s infrastructure. The developer never has access to your iCloud data.

No Tracking or Analytics

Caffein8r contains no analytics, no tracking, and no third-party SDKs. The app does not collect usage data, device identifiers, or any form of telemetry.

No Accounts

Caffein8r does not require any account creation or sign-in. If iCloud sync is added in the future, it will use your existing Apple ID, managed entirely by Apple.

No Data Sold or Shared

Your data is never sold, shared, or transferred to any third party. Ever.
